Death the Kid X Reader - Asymmetrical

You knew you shouldn’t.

Really, you did, but he was just so adorable when he started freaking out about it that you just couldn’t help yourself.

You had honestly started to wonder why the two of you were still dating.

An hour. That’s how long Kid had been able to go.

“(Name), will you just-“ Kid started, but broke off when his eyes landed that chuck of hair slightly off center in your otherwise perfectly symmetrical hair again. Big things Kid could ignore (which you thought was a little strange). It was the little things, like a lamp that was off by a centimeter, which really set him off.

“Just what?” you asked, feigning an air of innocence as you tapped your pencil against your cheek.  Soul was right. You could be a total jackass.

“Your hair…”

You just blinked, and Kid let out a loud groan and slammed his head into the desk. A few students looked over, but other than that they didn’t question it. It had become a normal occurrence for them in the past year.

Kid let out a loud groan, and you finally decided to be the nice girlfriend.

You carefully put the piece of hair back in place (you had developed a sharp eye for these things, what with being a Meister and Kid’s girlfriend), and then poked his fluffy black and white hair. “There see? Fixed.”


Kid moved so one golden eye was looking at you. He looked you up and down, and when he seemed to be satisfied he scoffed and folded his arms to use as a head rest. “I hate you.”

“Love you too.” You replied, quickly scribbling down a note that the professor had just put up on the board.

Kid just grunted in reply.
